I'm a product designer who likes to own the whole problem.
I'm a product designer in London, nine years in. The thread through my career is that I keep drifting outside design: into research, then experiments, and more recently into building the products myself. I think the best product work happens when one person can hold the whole problem in their head.
Marshmallow
Senior Product Designer
I joined in claims, where I replaced manual document chasing with a request tool for handlers and an upload portal for customers, so documents now arrive twice as fast. I also designed and built a one-click CCTV request that's live with 42 councils. Then I moved to be a founding product designer on Marshmallow's new financial products as it expands into lending, where we've built car finance and secured loans and I take problems from research through to shipped code.
Rooser
Founding Designer
As the first designer, I built a marketplace for buying and selling seafood from nothing. With no existing product to improve, every decision about what to build first was mine to make.
Otta
Senior Product Designer
I was one of two product designers who helped grow Otta to over 2 million candidates and through its acquisition by Welcome to the Jungle. I designed a self-serve hiring product that reached £40k in monthly recurring revenue in four months, and a job card redesign that increased apply clicks by 15%, both shaped by talking to candidates every week.
Gousto
Product Designer
I learned to treat design as a series of experiments. During the pandemic boom, our team's A/B tests on sign-up added £2.9m in annual profit.
Deloitte Digital
Designer
I designed services for the Home Office and the DVSA, which everyone has to be able to use. Accessibility came first, and it still does.
Outside work, I build. AI has made it possible for one designer to ship real products, so I have: a retirement planner for our household, an AI-powered venue finder for South Asian weddings, and smaller tools around the house. Running them myself shows me quickly which design choices work and which don't.
I do my best work in small teams, on problems where people are making decisions that matter to them. If that sounds like yours, message me on LinkedIn.
